How about using the “all categories” feature? So I can get more than just “Latest” as my default. I would like a "New " so I can see any new posts for say the last 48-72 hours?

I think when there are new topics/replies since your last visit, you do get a New option in the top.
You are correct. I have seen that option on another site that I use and didn’t think about volume of traffic. Sorry for the for the assumption error
No worries. Every forum is just a little different, but as people we want them to be just like what we’re used to.
