My wife inherited a wood serving cart from her parents. Unfortunately, a drug addicted son carelessly broke one of the wheels off of it. I don’t have the skill to fix it, and don’t want to throw it away either. Willing to give away (no cost) to anyone willing to take it on as a project. I’m in the Portland area on the Vancouver side of the river.

That’s a beautiful cart. Hopefully you’ll find a good home for it.
I will take the cart if no one else does. It is much too nice to let it be destroyed. Vancouver is a bit of a drive, so it may take me a while to figure out the logistics. Please respond to my email at

After looking at that broken leg, it seems it might be better to replace it with one the grain going vertical instead of crosswise to add to the strength.
