Hand belt sanders for sanding curves

Before the pandemic, I was working on a project that I needed to sand a bunch of curves,so I got the idea of making a hand sander to do the job. It worked so well that I made one for everyone in the club. I had this big old chunk of Poplar that had been moved around the shop forever,so I picked it to make them out of. The 1" wide belts can be bought in rolls. I bought 3 grits,Course,Medium and fine. The 3 are attached in a stack on the handle.

That’s awesome…

(if you paint them the correct color green you could call them festool and sell them for $1000)

I liked the one you gave us that I made a couple more so I would have different grits quickly available. It is always amazing when such a simple idea works so well.
