That file cabinet is very similar to the Fly tying cabinet I built for my son when he was 14y.o.
I use it in my shop now for storage.
I don’t usually use plans. I go by pictures and scale them to get an idea of the proportions and build from there.

Good one, stick. The golden rule for stools is to make the legs splay wider than the seat in both directions.
